API Key Management

Like other public cloud providers, API Keys in SCloud are long-term credentials for an IAM user (main or sub-account). You can use API keys to sign programmatic requests to the SCloud CLI or API (directly or using the SCloud SDK).

Limitations

Each user can apply for a maximum of 2 (two) pairs of API keys.

Create a new API key

Step 1: open SCloud public cloud console and access API Keys management dashboard at https://console.scloud.sg/uaccount/api_manage

Step 2: Click A New Key button to request for a new API Key

Step 3: New API key created & available in the list. New API key will be enabled by default!

Enable or Disable an API key

To enable a disabled API key, click Enable button. To disable an enabled API key, click Disabled button.

Delete an API key

From the API key listing page, click Delete button and click OK to confirm (note that you can only delete disabled api keys).
